Walter Anthony “Tony” Bradford, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, his stage name Montana of 300. On March 8, 2004, Montana of 300 was signed to Cash Money Records.

In the February 21, 2004 issue of “XXL”, he was listed as one of “XXL’s” “10 New Artists You Need To Know.” In the same year, he was named one of “XLR8R”s “Top 10 Freshmen.” He is also a member of The Diplomats. He is currently signed to Cash Money Records and has released four studio albums: “The Godfather Part II” (2005), “The American Dream” (2007), (2008), and  (2010).

Walter Anthony “Tony” Bradford was born on March 3, 1989 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. He is the second child of his parents. He has one sister, named Terrance Bradford. His father, Anthony Bradford, was a musician and was also a member of the band “The Dramatics”, which he managed. He is of African American, Irish, and Native American descent.

Tony Bradford’s mother died when he was young, and his father remarried a woman named Kathy Bradford in 1991. Tony grew up in Chicago with his stepmother who brought him up to be white as she was white herself. Tony attended Thomas Aiken High School before moving to Atlanta for school at the age of 16 to attend North Springs High School for two years, after which he moved back to Chicago to attend college at DePaul University where he studied political science. However, he dropped out after 2 semesters because of his musical career.

Music Career

Tony Bradford began his music career as a rapper in 2006 and self-released an EP called The Day Before Tomorrow in 2008. In 2010, he released another mixtape titled Fly Away. In 2011, he released another mixtape titled What’s Up 4 I? And the following year, he released a song called “Gangsta Luv” which was produced by Skitzo.

He then signed with Cash Money Records in 2012 where he had a deal with Jason Geter to release his first official album Fire in the Church on May 20, 2016. After being signed to Cash Money Records for over two years, Tony Bradford was dropped from the label in September 2013.

His debut album, “The Godfather Part II”, debuted at number 6 on the US “Billboard” 200, selling 81,000 copies in its first week. The second single released from the album, “My Life”, reached number 1 on the Bubbling under Hot 100 and Hot Rap Tracks charts. His third studio album, “The American Dream”, debuted at number 4 on the US Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 64,000 copies. The album’s lead single, “I Need A Bag of Dope” featuring Lil Wayne and Birdman debuted at number 7 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart.
